Mapo

Mapo centres on the grill houses, offal spots and converted-house cafes around Mapo Station and Gongdeok. There is Cheongchun Gurakbu (beef tripe and intestine) in the Mapo galbi alley, Urban Mungtigi (thick-cut raw beef) by Mapo Station, and Hongbak Agujjim and Mapo Yangji Seolleongtang in Gongdeok, plus Seosan Kkotge for a booking-only soy-marinated crab set and Cheongeoram for beef tripe hot pot with a clean vegetable broth — then coffee at Fritz Dohwa, in a converted Western-style house. Mapo Sogeumgui, Cheongeoram and Hongbak Agujjim are closed Sundays.
