Koreana Hotel Dalbit YajangA Pork Set and Unlimited Beer on a 25th-Floor Rooftop Over Gwanghwamun
In Gwanghwamun, Seoul, on the 25th-floor rooftop of Koreana Hotel, there is an outdoor drinking spot called Dalbit Yajang.

A 25th-floor rooftop with Gwanghwamun below
It sits on the hotel's 25th-floor rooftop, so the Gwanghwamun side spreads out below the railing.

The photo was taken while it was still light. A wide road runs straight ahead, and at its far end you can see a palace building with a tiled roof. Behind it a forested mountain ridge rises under the sky. Buildings stand on both sides — a Lotte Tour sign on the one at the left and KYOBO lettering on the one at the right. Green artificial vines are draped along the railing, and a CCTV camera is mounted at the far right.
The Hando pork set is 150,000 won for four, and the beer is unlimited
The menu is the Hando pork set, 150,000 won for four people. The beer on top of that is unlimited.
This is what the table looks like in the photo. On a black stone griddle lie two thick pieces of grilled pork seasoned with black pepper, with four large shrimp laid side by side above them. On the right are four glossy sausages, on the left two grilled rice-cake sticks, and a heap of sautéed greens at the bottom of the griddle. A red pair of scissors rests on the griddle, and the compartment at the upper right holds sliced green chili and garlic.
The kind of place you leave feeling you got your money's worth
We came with friends, wanting to make an evening of it. If you count the Gwanghwamun night view in the price, this is not an expensive amount. The food was also quite good.
And after drinking beer with real effort, you somehow walk out feeling you got your money's worth.
