Gangwon

Gangwon stretches between the East Sea and the Taebaek mountains, so the coast and the highlands feel quite different even within one province. Gangneung covers jjamppong sundubu in the Chodang tofu village and a pancake-bun burger at Little Diner; Cheorwon has bibim-makguksu; Sokcho has Sokcho Beach with its ㅅㅊ sculpture and the hand-pulled gaetbae ferry in Abai Village. Gangneung is two hours from Seoul by KTX and pairs well with Gyeongpo or Anmok Beach.
