Coffee that seems to be in no hurry at all

Walk in and the pour-over bar under the TERAROSA sign is the first thing you see. Several cups brew at once, and staff pour the water slowly, one cup at a time.

Watching coffee come down slowly, on its own schedule, no matter who's waiting, is quietly enviable. No rush, its own pace. The shop itself is clean and well-kept, so it's comfortable to sit for a while.

Terarosa is well known as a roastery that started in Gangneung. I had a Cloud Americano — deep, rich flavor — and looking around, plenty of the other tables were drinking Terarosa's Gangneung-born coffee too.

The hand-drip bar

On the counter stands a black hand-drip station lit up with "TERAROSA". Three drippers with paper filters sit on the upper shelf, and glass servers holding coffee line up beneath, so the whole brewing process is visible. In front of the counter, glasses are turned upside down on a tray, with canisters of beans lined up at the left. A "RETURN BAR" sign is visible on one wall.
