Your first day, in order

Verified 21 September 2026

1. At the airport, change only enough to reach the city
2. Buy and load a T-money card at the airport, or have a machine issue a WOWPASS card (at Incheon you can only get the card — exchange cash in the city)
3. Install Naver Map or KakaoMap
4. Save 1330
5. Change the rest downtown (Myeongdong / Namdaemun, or a WOWPASS kiosk)

Those five things will get you through day one without getting stuck. (K-ETA is not on this list because it is a before-you-fly step, not a day-one one — see item 1.)
